In the latest clip, Omar Gooding spoke about the passing of John Singleton and described his final interactions with the late filmmaker. The actor explained that he wasn't very close with the "Baby Boy" cast besides costar Angell Conway, who became his real-life girlfriend. Omar claimed his focus was performing well in his role and didn't take the time to establish relationships with his costars. Despite not being close with John Singleton, he described their subsequent interactions as friendly and spoke about him and his brother, Cuba Gooding Jr., receiving their first big breaks from the director.
