Conservative political pundit and staunch Donald Trump supporter Candace Owens took to social media to weigh in on the tragic incident involving Alec Baldwin.
As many people are grieving the loss of the cinematographer who was fatally wounded in the shooting, Owens took it as an opportunity to cape for 45.
"Alec Baldwin spent 4 years dedicated to painting Donald Trump and his supporters as evil murderers," Owens tweeted. "What has happened to Alec would be an example of poetic justice if it weren't for the actual innocent people that were murdered by him. Pray for their families. So sad."
She would later update her tweet and retract the accusation of murder because it was pointed out to her by several people in and out of the film industry that actors aren't responsible for loading prop weapons and Baldwin was likely unaware he was handling a "hot" prop gun.
