Kash Doll has been making waves for her reoccurring role in the BMF series executive produced by 50 Cent for Starz. The rapper made appearances outside of the show and recently revealed some information about her past as a stripper while on Jalen Rose’s ‘Renaissance Man’ podcast.
The rapper and actor noted that she turned to stripping after a string of unfortunate circumstances happened. Kash Doll said her car was stolen, and her house caught on fire, which forced her to move with her mom. The rapper noted her first day of stripping had her “sh*tting bricks.” However, she ended up making $700 on the first shift. Kash Doll went on to say, “I’m like, ‘Shit… This is what I make in two weeks at Best Buy’.”
Kash Doll then said the money started piling from there. “I said, ‘Oh, I’m about to stack this money up.’ I made $26,000 in one night,” said the rapper. She continued saying, “I just got so popular to the point that I was on flyers every week and I didn’t dance on the floor like the regular dancers. ... I was like the highest paid dancer in Michigan. And it’s been that way for a long time and nobody really did it again.” Kash Doll then noted she earned $250,000 one year. Take a look above.
