Previously, it was noted that one of the drug dealers involved in the death of Mac Miller was denied a request to leave prison for a funeral. Now, one of the other drug dealers, Stephen Walter, has reportedly entered a guilty plea with the feds.
Reports note Walter is the supplier who allegedly gave the dealer the drugs that were sold to Mac Miller. Walter pleaded guilty to one count of distribution of fentanyl. The other drug charge, conspiracy to distribute a controlled substance, was dropped.
As of now, Walter is facing a maximum sentence of 20 years in prison. Along with that, he is facing a lifetime of supervised release along with a $1 million fine. Prosecutors on the case are reportedly pushing for 17 years in prison and five years of supervision following a release. It was noted that prosecutors said the dealer pleading guilty means he is well aware of pushing counterfeit oxycodone pills laced with fentanyl to the late rapper. Stay tuned for more updates.
