Rooga came through for his first-ever VladTV interview, and during the sit-down, the Chicago rapper spoke about growing up with his cousin FBG Duck, who he said started rapping before him. He also spoke about Chicago seeing a resurgence with Drill music, and Rooga spoke about how he linked up with Chicago legend Kanye West. Moving along, Rooga detailed how his song “GD Anthem” took off, and despite his success, Rooga revealed that he’s never done a concert in his city. Due to the violence in the city, Rooga also stated that all rappers, regardless of where they are from, should leave as soon as they start making money.
