Freddie Gibbs and DJ Akademiks have been going back forth on social media the last few days, with Gibbs saying, “I could have smoked Akademiks.” However, the social media personality says he isn’t thrown off by the beef and went as far as calling Gibbs a civilian.
Along with that, Akademiks went on to call out Gibbs as fake, then proceeded to expose the rapper’s background. The first thing Akademiks said about Gibbs is that his father is a police officer, then claimed the rapper grew up playing with his father’s gun and badge. He then went on to say Gibbs got into rap by speaking on things he claims never happened for the rapper and that his hood lied on the work he put in before rap.
Akademiks then brought up how Gibbs talking about other rappers ended up with him getting shot at in Brooklyn in an incident that allegedly involved a rapper from Harlem. The social media personality then went on to say Gibbs' whole career was funded by his dad. Take a look above.
