According to reports, eight people were left dead, and hundreds were injured due to crowd surging that happened at Travis Scott’s ‘Astroworld’ Festival.
The music festival took place in Houston, and the crowd surge reportedly happened and “caused some panic, and it started injuries,” according to fire chief Samuel Peña. The fire department noted that 50,000 people were in attendance this past Friday night. Houston Police Chief Troy Finner stated that it was still unclear what caused the crowd to surge forward. As a result of the tragic incident, 23 people were taken to nearby hospitals, with 11 of them being in cardiac arrest. Stay tuned for more updates.
