This past weekend, the Astroworld Festival found many lives being lost due to a massive crowd surge where people were reportedly trampled. Over three hundred people were reportedly injured as well. Now, Scott is reportedly facing two separate lawsuits.
One lawsuit was filed by a 23-year-old Texas resident named Kristian Paredes, who was badly injured at the Astroworld Festival. Paredes named Scott, Drake, and others for “inciting mayhem.” The suit filed by Paredes says that he felt a “push” at the front of the GA area, when Scott entered the stage.
From there, Paredes’ paperwork claims “The crowd became chaotic and a stampede began. Many begged security guards hired by Live Nation Entertainment for help, but were ignored.” Along with that, Drake was named in the suit, saying “As Drake came onstage alongside Travis Scott he helped incite the crowd even though he knew of Travis Scott’s prior conduct.” Stay tuned for more updates.
