Scottie Pippen isn't holding back his true feelings about former teammate and now apparent nemesis Michael Jordan.

While appearing on NBA Radio on SiriusXM, Pippen opened up about his true feelings about Jordan's infamous "flu game" and how that compared to his game when he played with a severely injured back.

"I wouldn't have played in a game 7, I just wasn't able to go. I knew on Saturday (Game 6) that I probably had one game left in me...I'm gonna ask you this. Is it easier to play with a herniated disc or to play with the flu? I don’t see many bad-back games, but I do see flu games. Flu. Come on."

It's safe to say that playing with a herniated disc in one's back shows a different level of pain tolerance and fortitude to play at a high level. But what seems to be lost on Pippen is the narrative around the "Flu Game" is the most important element in this equation and not the fact that a herniated disc is or can be worse than a viral infection.
