On Wednesday (November 10), Kenosha gunman Kyle Rittenhouse took the stand in his homicide trial, where he sobbed uncontrollably while recounting the deadly event that unfolded on August 25, 2020.
Some people questioned if Rittenhouse's tearful display was genuine, as he didn't appear to produce tears while sobbing. LeBron James weighed in on the situation via Twitter, writing, "What tears????? I didn’t see one. Man knock it off! That boy ate some lemon heads before walking into court."
Rittenhouse has been charged as an adult with two counts of first-degree homicide and one count of attempted homicide. In addition, he faces charges of recklessly endangering the safety of two other victims and possessing a weapon while under the age of 18. The first-degree intentional homicide charge carries a mandatory life sentence.
