After being on life support for days, 9-year-old Ezra Blount has passed away from his injuries sustained at Astroworld Fest.
Ezra fell off his father's shoulders and was trampled by concertgoers as Travis Scott started his performance. His father was knocked consciousness as people pushed to the stage, and when he came to he could not find his son. After finally finding Ezra, they rushed to the hospital where his son was treated for major organ damage and brain swelling. Ezra was put on life support but tragically passed away earlier today.
This marks the tenth person to die at Astroworld. Eight people died at the concert. The ninth person, Bharti Shahani, died in the hospital a few days ago from her injuries.
