Giannis Antetokounmpo landed the recent cover of GQ, as their "Athlete of the Year," and during the accompanying interview, he was asked about his relationship with James Harden.
In the article, GQ pointed out that Giannis has framed jerseys in his home from the likes of Blake Griffin, Steph Curry, Kevin Durant, and James Harden. When asked about the tension between them, Antetokounmpo stated, "A lot of people think that I have beef with James Harden, which is not true."
This comes after Harden took a jab at Giannis during an interview with ESPN's Rachel Nichols, where he stated, "I wish I could just be 7 feet and run and dunk. That takes no skill at all. I actually have to learn how to play basketball and have skill. I'll take that any day."
Giannis responded to the diss, "First of all, Harden never mentioned my name. I have seen this video, about one year later. I think what he meant was that if he was also a 7 footer, jumped and dunk, it would have been easier for him."
