The Memphis Police Department is encouraging the public to assist in its investigation into the murder of rapper Young Dolph. After releasing screen captures of the rapper's alleged shooters, the police have now released an image of the vehicle used in the attack.
Earlier reports claimed the suspects arrived and fled the scene in a light-colored Mercedes. The image released to the public a white Mercedes coupe that the authorities believe to be an E-Class. The police also offered more details regarding Wednesday's fatal shooting incident.
"On Wednesday, November 17, 20201, at 1225 hours officers responded to a shooting at 2370 Airway Blvd. Upon arrival, Officers located a male inside the business shot several times," the bulletin read. "The male was pronounced deceased on the scene. Surveillance video showed the above vehicle was used in the homicide. Two male suspects were last seen occupying this vehicle, armed with a rifle and a pistol, dressed in dark colored jackets and gray or light colored pants."
The above bulletin also confirmed that the suspects are wanted on first-degree murder charges.
