A student at Castleberry High School in Texas was filmed hitting her teacher before calling her mother and making a racially charged remark inside the classroom.

The video clip shows the student walking up to the teacher's desk as she's making a call. The student hangs up the call and when the teacher attempts to touch the phone, the student smacks the teacher in the arm before yelling, "Deal with me!"

The teacher maintains her composure and calmly leaves the classroom to call for help. At that moment, the student picks up the phone and calls her mother.

"I need you to get over here now because this teacher is about to get f****** up if she doesn't get the f*** away from me," the student is heard saying. "You want to talk to her because she's Black, and she's f****** pissing me off right now."

After the call, the student aggressively slams the phone towards the teacher before storming out of the classroom. District officials responded to the video by releasing a statement commending the teacher for staying calm and professional throughout the altercation. They also announced that they've turned the matter over to law enforcement and will conduct its own investigation.
