Chicago rapper Cdai took to Instagram on Monday (November 22), where he posted a new mugshot along with a message that read, "Get Back Gone Be Real Soon. Only The Strong Survive. Never Lose Faith Or Give Up. FreeMe."

Earlier this year, Cdai told fans that he'd be home "real soon" in a phone call, where he stated, "Man look, real soon. I’m gon’ pop up on the scene like a ghost." In 2016, Cdai was sentenced to 38 years in prison for his role in the 2014 murder of jitney cab driver Javan Boyd. He was sentenced along with fellow rapper RondoNumbaNine, who received 39 years in prison.

While in prison, Cdai had to address rumors that he had gotten married after a post of a woman claiming to be the rapper's wife went viral. Cdai shared a message on Instagram back in August, which read, "I did not propose to nobody. I am not married the rumors is a lie. Again I did not propose to nobody I am not married."
