Terra Field, the transgender Netflix who was suspended for crashing an internal meeting along with others, resigned from the streaming platform in a letter on Sunday.

The senior software engineer had been one of Chappelle's most outspoken critics following the release of his controversial special, The Closer. After her initial criticism and suspension, Netflix experienced protests and lawsuits as a result of its decision to stand by its decision to work with Chappelle.

"I'm not happy that this is how things turned out, but I do think this outcome is the best for all parties involved," Field tweeted.

In addition to her resignation, Field and former co-worker B. Pagels-Minor dropped a complaint against Netflix filed with the National Labor Relations Board. B. Pagels-Minor, who is also transgender, was fired from Netflix for allegedly leaking financial information. Pagels-Minor has denied the allegations.

Laurie Burgess, a labor lawyer representing the former employees, declined to provide specifics as to how the duo resolved their differences with Netflix.
