Dave East took to Instagram to celebrate buying his first convenience store in Harlem, and he credited the late Nipsey Hussle for inspiring him.
In a series of photos and a video of his new store, Dave wrote, "Bought my first store today, I told Nipsey he laid the blueprint for real ones everywhere. Wish Shooter could see this shit. Coming soon 2022. Couldn’t have made this happen without @queenofharlem The realest!"
East’s real estate agent Michelle Smalls, who he tagged in his post, also spoke about the deal on Instagram. Smalls wrote, "I posted this commercial space and so many ppl went behind my back to get it . Sad truth , the person they went to was charging a extra 70k key money on top of the rental. However , who ever you used eventually you would have had to come through me Bc I was the exclusive broker."
She added, "I don’t brag but I definitely can flex when needed 🤷🏾♀️Thank you @daveeast for trusting me with your real estate needs. You kept it 100 and in return i saved you 70k. So proud of you . Time to buy the block."
