New police footage shows Atlanta Braves outfielder Marcell Ozuna choking his wife before his arrest for domestic battery this past May.

On May 29, the star baseball player was arrested on two counts of domestic battery after he allegedly choked and hit his wife with his cast before threatening to kill her. The domestic dispute reportedly started over alleged infidelity.

In the newly-released video, Ozuna is seen grabbing his wife by the throat as the police enter the home and instruct him to release his wife and get on the ground.

Ozuna was originally charged with felony aggravated assault by strangulation before the charge was lowered to misdemeanor family violence and he was ordered to enter a pretrial diversion program. He also had to complete 200 hours of community service and anger management counseling.

The 31-year-old was placed on administrative leave last season as MLB investigated the incident. He was given a 20-game suspension earlier this week. However, the suspension was retroactive to time served so he will eligible to play at the start of the upcoming season. Ozuna recently signed a four-year, $65 million contract with the Atlanta Braves.
