Previously, it was revealed that singer Ari Lennox was arrested at the Schipol Airport in Amsterdam. During the incident, Lennox made it clear she felt the incident was related to race and discrimination. However, Dutch Military Police claimed the singer was arrested for being drunk. Now, Lennox has officially addressed the situation, noting she isn’t okay after her ordeal.

“My only regret is my reaction to the racism and discrimination I experienced,” said Lennox via Twitter. The artist went on to say, “I would like to explain what happened to me but KLM has made it clear that they never cared to hear it from the jump. It’s painful being silenced like this. It’s painful what I went through. I’m not ok.” Stay tuned for more updates.

According to Reuters, Dutch military police are claiming that Ari Lennox was arrested for being drunk at Amsterdam Schiphol airport on Monday (November 29). Lennox addressed the situation on Twitter, writing, "I'm being arrested in Amsterdam for reacting to a woman racially profiling me." 

Dutch military police spokesperson Robert van Kapel told Reuters, "Our unit found a woman full of emotions, that wouldn't calm down. That's why she had to be taken into custody." He added that it's unclear when Lennox would be released, as they are investigating alleged threats she made during the incident.

Earlier this morning, singer Ari Lennox took to Twitter to reveal a horrible experience she went through while in Amsterdam, as she dealt with an alleged racial profiling incident.

Lennox posted a photo of a woman who appeared to be working at the airport, along with the caption “Racism. Wow Amsterdam I’m horrified. I was so happy to travel and this evil woman.. I’ve never experienced racism so blatant.” She continued in numerous tweets, saying, “F**k Amsterdam f**k klm. Never in my life.”

The singer then went on to reveal she was being arrested, saying “Wow they’re arresting me. I’m being arrested in Amsterdam for reacting to a woman racially profiling me.” Take a look above.
