Former NFL defensive lineman Glenn Foster Jr. died in police custody after being arrested in Alabama on Sunday.
Foster was arrested and charged in Reform, Alabama on charges of reckless endangerment and resisting arrest. However, his charges were later adjusted to three counts of simple assault and one count of third-degree robbery.
Chad Harless, the Pickens County coroner, announced that the results of an autopsy are still pending but couldn't provide more information as law enforcement is still investigating the death.
Glenn Foster Jr. played two seasons for the New Orleans Saints after going undrafted. After his NFL career, he stayed in Louisiana and opened a granite countertop business with retail stores in New Orleans and Baton Rouge. He was 31 years old at the time of his passing.
