According to reports, NFL free agent Aldon Smith is back in trouble with the law after being arrested for a DUI causing injury.
Smith was arrested on Monday night after 7:30 PM and is currently being held on a $50,000 bond. TMZ Sports' report at 6:07 p.m. ET on Tuesday. It's not immediately clear what happened exactly, however, the 32-year-old is due in court for arraignment on Wednesday.
This isn't Smith's first arrest. The troubled pass-rusher has a string of arrests stemming from multiple DUI arrests to domestic violence. Smith's felony charge of DUI causing injury comes on the heels of former Las Vegas Raiders wideout Henry Ruggs III causing a fatal accident after driving under the influence. It's becoming clear that the NFL may have a DUI problem for its current roster players and those just a step outside the league.
