ESPN's Jalen Rose and Molly Qerim have split after three years of marriage.

According to court records, the former NBA player filed for divorce in April 2021. The couple went public in 2016 before getting married in New York in 2018. The couple's marriage reportedly broke down after Qerim moved to Connecticut, but sources claim the breakup was amicable and both sides remain cordial.

"They were friends before they were together and are still friends," one source said. "They saw each other at work today and it was totally normal. They worked to keep their relationship status private over the last year because they have a lot of respect for each other."

The couple did not have a prenup but neither is requesting alimony or spousal support. Jalen Rose confirmed news of the divorce in his Instagram Story and revealed the couple had been separated for the past year.

"After being separated for almost a year, Molly and I have officially decided to go our separate ways," he wrote. "We both agree remaining friends and colleagues is the best course of action for our relationship moving forward. Please respect our privacy at this time."
