Dame Dash recently sat down with Bootleg Kev, where he spoke about Kanye working on Jay-Z's The Blueprint, and he stated that Kanye is the only one at Roc-A-Fella to show him "proper respect."
Dame explained, "What I will say about Kanye, is he’s the only one on a real level that’s given me a certain type of respect. The only one. And it doesn’t matter because he’s the biggest one. He’s the only billionaire out of the whole crew. He’s the only one to pay proper respect, and he’s always been that guy."
Dame went on to share a story about asking Just Blaze to flip a beat for The Blueprint, and he stated that he felt "disrespected" because Just Blaze didn't make it a priority. Dame went on to say that Kanye flipped the beat that day for Dame, which he feels shows Kanye has a lot of respect for him.
