Compton rapper and former YG associate Slim 400 was shot and killed in Los Angeles Wednesday. While details of the rapper's death were minimal at the time the news was released, video footage of the incident appears to show how Slim 400 passed away.

Law enforcement confirmed that a video spreading on social media is the Slim 400 shooting. The video shows that Slim 400 was the victim of what appears to be a surprise attack. The rapper is parked in a driveway before an unidentified gunman approaches and fires multiple rounds at close range.

Slim 400 appears to lunge at the shooter as he's getting shot. Eight shots are heard as the rapper appears to hold onto the gunman and get dragged as his attacker moves towards the street.

The Inglewood Police Department reportedly responded to the scene of the crime and transported Slim 400 to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.

No arrests have been made. Slim 400 was 33 years old at the time of his passing.
