Ed Lover took a neutral approach to the feuding sides, arguing that Lil Nas X should have the right to live how he wants and Boosie should have the right to disagree. He also said the LGBTQ community should learn to take a joke if they want to be accepted in everyday life before pointing out that Dave Chappelle told jokes about other communities and no one made an issue of it.
