Florida rapper Glokknine was sentenced to 87 months in federal prison after pleading guilty to three weapons charges earlier this year. In addition, he was sentenced to three years of supervised release and drug treatment, along with being ordered to pay $10,416 in restitution.
The Orlando rapper was indicted on the federal firearms charges in February after investigators found that he was in possession of a sawed-off semi-automatic rifle that was not registered to him. A plea agreement shows that the rifle was stolen during a burglary in 2019, and it was found in Glokknine's grandparent's home when the Orlando Police Department served a search warrant. Glokknine's thumbprint was reportedly found on the rifle magazine and his DNA was on the grip area.
In addition to this case, Glokknine also faces racketeering and attempted second-degree murder charges. The racketeering trial is set to begin in March 2022.
