At the start of his first-ever interview with VladTV, Gilbert Arenas began telling his life story, including moving to California with his Dad, who dropped out of college to be an aspiring actor. Gilbert then revealed that his father saved him from foster care after his mother abandoned him, and he added that they were homeless when they first moved to the L.A.-area. From there, Gilbert spoke about living with his grandmother in Florida until his father got established in California, and going on to play basketball starting at age 12.
