In the latest clip, YBN Almighty Jay talked about reconnecting with YBN Nahmir about a year after they lost touch. While catching up, YBN Nahmir revealed he was going to be dropping "Rubbing Off the Paint," which quickly went viral and launched Nahmir and the rest of the YBN crew into rap stardom. Almighty Jay talked about releasing "Chopsticks" after "Rubbing Off the Paint" and canceling his plans to join the military after the single became a success.
Almighty Jay also explained his deal with Atlantic Records. He admitted to signing to the label through his lawyer's production company. Almighty Jay revealed he signed to his lawyer for only $20,000, admitting that he didn't have any money at the time and still blew the advance on clothes. The rapper claimed his advance from Atlantic was "way more" and that he didn't have any issues with the label except for them viewing YBN as a group instead of a collective.
Later, he addressed his previous romance with Blac Chyna. He confirmed they were engaged in a relationship when he was 18 and she was 29. To hear more, check out the clip above.
