Russell Westbrook has been a point of focus since joining the Lakers, with fans loving the arrival and energy push by the player, while others speak on what they feel is an inconsistency. The Brooklyn Nets ended up getting the best of the Lakers in a 122-115 loss, which led many to mention Westbrook as a factor. However, teammate LeBron James made it clear he isn’t here for any criticism, saying Westbrook’s decision-making was “spectacular.”
While speaking to reporters, LeBron was asked about Westbrook’s performance on Christmas and responded by saying, “He gave us extra possessions, he gave us a lot of looks around the basket, which I know that he can't stand [failing to convert] as well.” James continued saying, “But as far as the effort piece, if a guy plays hard, if a guy leaves it all out on the floor, I got no problem with that. It's a make-or-miss league.” Reports noted that Westbrook left the arena without speaking to any reporters. Watch James’ comments above.
