Newly released bodycam footage shows the dramatic events that led to the shooting death of a 14-year-old girl at a Southern California Burlington Coat Factory store.
While police engaged the suspect inside the department store, the teen was struck by a stray bullet that went through the wall of the dressing room where she was hiding during the incident. A former LAPD detective and expert on police use of force told TMZ that the officer went rogue by firing live rounds in the department store setting.
The suspect had assaulted several shoppers before police arrived but officers didn't immediately go for lethal force except for one officer who went in armed with an AR-15.
