According to reports, Megan Thee Stallion now owns the federal trademark to “Hot Girl Summer.” In 2019, the rapper dropped the Nicki Minaj-assisted single “Hot Girl Summer,” and the phrase spread rapidly on social media and in pop culture. Following the single's release, Megan noted she officially trademarked the phrase.
Now, federal paperwork has surfaced showing that Meg indeed did get the phrase trademarked. The registration for the trademark was reportedly issued on January 4, 2022. Take a look above.
