In a rare move, Chief Keef got candid about recording his 2019 Zaytoven collaboration "Ain't Gonna Happen," where the Chicago-born rapper reflects on losing various people around him, including his stepbrother Ulysses, Fredo Santana, and his cousin Big Glo.
Chief Keef recently reflected on the song, writing on Twitter, "Fun fact: on front of ain’t gonna happen a young n-gga was cryin thinking about them members but everytime I cry I laugh so I ended up laughing and taking the crying out the front you only hear it on intro by the time I got to laughing."
In 2020, Chief Keef suffered another loss in his inner circle after fellow Glo Gang rapper 600BossMoo reportedly died in a murder-suicide. According to reports, the rapper, real name Navon Dukes, shot his girlfriend, Jasmine Green, before turning the gun himself.
