Lil Cease's VladTV interview with Shawn Prez has garnered much attention, specifically for his recounting Biggie's tragic assassination in Los Angeles. Former Bad Boy bodyguard Gene Deal, who sat down with Vlad in 2020, spoke about the chatter surrounding Lil Cease's interview and took issue with some of the details he provided. Moreover, Gene Deal expressed a level of skepticism about Shawn Prez's ability to conduct an in-depth interview asking all the right questions considering his background as a former Bad Boy executive.
Gene Deal also took issue with how some of the things he expressed in his VladTV interview were dismissed or otherwise undermined by Shawn Prez during his conversation with Cease. For all the different accounts offered by those present the night of Biggie's murder, Gene suggested that there be a sit down between everyone to get the real story somehow out there.
