Update 01/12/2022 2:41pm:
During the past two weeks, Justin Johnson has been the primary suspect in the murder of Young Dolph. The 23-year-old rapper even flaunted his new rise to infamy on social media by dropping a new music video, while on the run from the authorities.
Upon Johnson's arrest in Indiana by the U.S. Marshals, it was believed that the person responsible for killing Young Dolph would finally be brought to justice, but now it appears as though a second murder suspect has emerged.
The Shelby Country District Attorney General has revealed that a 32-year-old man by the name of Cornelius Smith is also being held in custody for his alleged involvement in Young Dolph's death. While it was previously reported that he was recently arrested along with Johnson, Smith has been in custody since Dec. 9, 2021. Smith was in arrested Southaven, Mississippi, on an auto-theft warrant involving the white Mercedes Benz that was used as the getaway car in Dolph’s murder on November 17.
Smith has been indicted for first-degree murder, possession of a firearm, employment of a firearm in the commission of a dangerous felony, and theft of property over $10,000. He's also been charged with the attempted murder of Young Dolph's brother, who was present at the time of the fatal shooting.
The Memphis native is currently being held without bail.

U.S. Marshals announced that Young Dolph's murder suspect, Justin Johnson, was arrested in Indiana on Tuesday afternoon after failing to turn himself in on Monday.
The 23-year-old, who's also a rapper known as Straight Dropp, announced in his Instagram Story last weekend that he would turn himself in after he was identified as Young Dolph's murder suspect. However, Johnson released a new music video to the song, "Track Hawk," and never surrendered to law enforcement.
Another suspect -- 32-year-old Cornelius Smith -- was also apprehended for his alleged involvement in Young Dolph's murder. It is currently unknown if the U.S. Marshals or police captured him, but he's been booked for first-degree murder.
Prior to his arrest, Johnson was wanted for first-degree murder, attempted murder, and theft. Young Dolph was 36 years old at the time of his passing in Nov. 2021. Johnson has proclaimed his innocence, while Smith has not made a public statement.
