Dave Chappelle recently spoke on the loss of Bob Saget, with who he was close with. While speaking on the loss, the comedian noted that he left the late ‘Full House’ star on read before he passed, a move he regrets.
While performing last week in West Hollywood, Chappelle did a bit and told the crowd about his relationship with Saget. Chappelle went on to say Saget texted him right before he passed away, but he never got around to responding because he was busy. Chappelle used the moment as a lesson to the crowd, telling them to show love to your folks, because you never know what life will bring your way.
Along with that, Chappelle spoke about the criticism he faced for his previous Netflix special, saying, “2022, the new me is not going to do any of those transphobic bigoted jokes.”
