The news clip reporting on the death of rapper Stretch, real name Randy Walker, has recently been circulating online.

The 1995 report starts with Stretch's family mourning his death, with one family member stating that they were in disbelief over his death. The reporter then revealed that Stretch was just three blocks away from his home in Queens, when a passing car opened fire, hitting Stretch and causing him to crash his car. Family members also denied rumors that Stretch's death was related to drugs.

This comes amid Stretch's brother Majesty recently sitting down for an interview with The Art of Dialogue, where he addressed 2Pac saying that Stretch didn't help him during the Quad Studios shooting.

Ed Lover also spoke to VladTV in December 2020 about rumors that Stretch's murder was tied to the Quad Studios incident. During the sit-down with Shawn Prez, Ed Lover explained how Stretch and 2Pac's friendship went from being strong to falling apart. Ed also revealed that he confronted 2Pac at the MTV VMAs for not going to Stretch's funeral, which you can hear in full here
