According to reports, comedian Louie Anderson passed away at 68 after an ongoing battle with blood cancer.
The comedian started ‘The Tonight Show’ in 1984 and has appeared in numerous movies since then. Along with that, the three-time Emmy Award winner was named “One of 100 Greatest Stand-Up Comedians of All Time” by Comedy Central.
The ‘Coming To America’ star had been dealing with his battle with cancer for some time and recently was treated for lymphoma while in a Las Vegas hospital. Previously, Anderson spoke about his weight loss journey, noting that he lost 30 to 40 pounds during the pandemic due to intermittent fasting. Ahead of being hospitalized, Louie was reportedly touring, doing comedy shows. Louie’s publicist noted the comedian passed away early Friday morning due to blood cancer.
