Just days after Philadelphia 76ers team president Daryl Morey expressed interest in acquiring James Harden from the Brooklyn Nets in exchange for Ben Simmons over the offseason, reports surfaced about Harden's frustration with the team, particularly Steve Nash's rotations, and specifically Kyrie Irving's part-time setup. Moreover, the reports claimed that Harden was unhappy living in Brooklyn and is open to exploring free-agent opportunities this offseason.
Harden addressed the media after the Nets' loss to the Los Angeles Lakers on Tuesday and virtually dismissed the reports, specifically the point about living in Brooklyn.
“I don’t know what you talking about… I don’t know about no reports,” Harden said.
According to Brian Lewis of the New York Post, when Steve Nash was asked about the situation he said he was aware of the reports but never had Harden voice those "frustrations" to him directly.
