Shaun Weiss, the actor known best for his role as Greg Goldberg in the Mighty Ducks movies, recently celebrated two years of sobriety after his highly-publicized meth addiction. Weiss shared a side-by-side photo on Instagram that showed him during his addiction and then a photo of him today, and he also thanked people for their support.

Weiss' friend Drew Gallagher shared an update about how the actor has been doing since he went into rehab after being arrested in Jan. 2020 on charges of residential burglary and being under the influence of a controlled substance. Gallagher revealed that Weiss is currently living in a sober house, but wants to get an apartment "when his finances get more stable."

Weiss has been doing stand-up gigs as well, but Gallagher reveals he's somewhat self-conscious about losing his teeth during his addiction. Weiss was gifted a new set of teeth, and he is currently waiting on the final fittings.

Gallagher explained, "He's been doing standup a couple places, so that's cool. He's been really enjoying that even though he doesn't love being on stage without any upper teeth. He still can't resist.

"We're kind of focusing on just trying to get him back out there acting, he's still as funny as ever. His comedy material is really on point. Shaun's been in the game since he was a kid so he can hop right back on screen no problem."

He then closed by stating, "He's super passionate about helping others and that's kind of the big thing. We're working on a book explaining our experiences over the last five, six years."
