During a recent interview, 22Gz touched on young rappers being candid with disses in their songs. The New York rapper advised against chatting in detail on songs about who your opp is. The rapper said, “[Young rappers] doin’ they thing. Just gotta dumb they dissin’ down cause n***as don’t hear you, n***as straight hear the dissin’ and say f**k the whole song, ya heard?”
22Gz then addressed how a diss song can smother a rapper’s rising popularity. “It’s how [they] diss though. It’s how they do it type s**t. Like bro, a n***a moms can’t hear that type s**t. You really trying to make it or what? You playin’.” Watch above.
