Nicki Minaj revealed in a recent interview that she wasn't interested in working with The City Girls due to feeling disrespected by them in the past. The interview with Lore'l and Headkrack on "The Morning Hustle" quickly spread across social media, with many people questioning whether diss tracks would follow.

However, Nicki took to Twitter on Wednesday (February 2) to reveal, "Just had a great convo with @ThegirlJT
& @YungMiami305. Let’s move on & make new memories y'all."

JT replied to Nicki, writing, "Sag sister! thank you for your time, your advice! A true queen…love you!" Yung Miami also replied, "Queen tingz."

During the height of Nicki Minaj's highly publicized beef with Lil Kim in the early 2010s, the Bronx native made it clear that the reason why she was throwing shade at her former idol was because of the disrespectful vernacular that she had been spewing about her to mutual friends in the music industry.

Since then, Nicki Minaj has raked in numerous accolades as a recording artist, but it hasn't stopped her from staying true to her original form. So, when Nicki Minaj was asked if she would ever consider working with City Girls during an interview with Lore'l and Headkrack on "The Morning Hustle," the rap veteran stated that although she was very interested before, a collab with the rap duo would be very unlikely because she does not tolerate disrespect from people who make unsavory remarks out her. She then offered up a parable to further explain her stance.

"An artist is a human being first," Nicki Minaj said. "So, if I as just a regular human, was about to do something with you if I was about to go to dinner with you tonight and then, I get something that says, 'Yo, she don't really f**k with you like that, she was saying this, and she don't really like you and she hopes you actually, you know, never pop or never flourish,' I'm not gon go out to dinner with you anymore because now I know that. I like you but you don't really like me. So, that's just a human way to feel if you hear that someone was saying things about you. Not just one thing. But repeated things, repeated tweets for years, not just one little thing...Why would I work with someone who does like me?"
