Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson recently came out in support of Joe Rogan amid controversy surrounding misinformation about COVID and its vaccines on his The Joe Rogan Experience podcast. However, The Rock later changed his stance after clips of Rogan saying the n-word surfaced, which led to Spotify pulling 70 episodes of Rogan's podcast.
When a Twitter user pointed out Rogan's use of the n-word, The Rock responded, writing, "Thank you so much for this I hear you as well as everyone here 100% I was not aware of his N word use prior to my comments, but now I've become educated to his complete narrative. Learning moment for me."
Controversial political commentator Candace Owens then shared her thoughts, writing on Twitter, "The Rock turning his back on Joe Rogan is so emblematic of why these fickle Hollywood types are never to be taken seriously. Remember fellas—routine steroid injections does not make someone a man."
Owens then added, "Isn’t it weird how everyone calling Joe Rogan racist is white while black people keep coming out of the woodwork to defend him? It’s almost like everything I’ve said about white liberals using racism as a political tool to take down people they despise is completely correct."
