Two men charged in the fatal shooting of Memphis rapper Young Dolph pleaded not guilty to first-degree murder and other felony charges Friday.
Attorneys for Justin Johnson and Cornelius Smith entered the pleas in Shelby County Criminal Court in Memphis. The two men were indicted in January for the Nov 17 slaying of the famous rapper at Makeda’s Homemade Cookies.
Despite revealing investigators have determined the motive behind the shooting, prosecutors chose not to disclose any details.
The next hearing in the case is set for March 24.
