Since being released from prison, NBA Youngboy has been trying to balance out making music while on house arrest. The rapper has gained much success with music, as his releases have been charting pretty high. However, the rapper has expressed frustration with his label, Atlantic Records.
Previously, the rapper took to social media to tell artists not to sign to Atlantic Records. He didn’t offer much of an explanation beyond saying “trust me.” Now, Youngboy has hit social media again to speak on the label. Via IG, Youngboy said, “Don’t sign to Atlantic unless you want to be a slave. I repeat don’t!!” In the caption of his post, the rapper said, “No it’s deeper just don’t.”
This should come as no surprise, as rappers like Meek Mill and Almighty Jay publicly spoke on their issues with the label. Take a look above.
