The high-profile double murder case of YNW Melly has had many plot twists and turns. Shortly after being charged for slaying two of his friends, YNW Sakchaser and YNW Juvy, the 22-year-old took to social media, from prison, to proclaim that he would "be home soon." But as the harsh reality of this case has set in, the odds of the "Murder On My Mind" rapper facing the death penalty for his transgressions are becoming more realistic by the day.

According to reports, prosecutors have been making a staunch effort to have the Floridian rapper/singer executed. In fact, they recently submitted a 66-page report complete with DNA evidence to strengthen their argument that YMN Melly shot his friends while riding with them in a vehicle.

YNW Melly aka Jamell Maurice Demons will be on trial for murdering Anthony Williams and Christopher Thomas Jr. in about one month and his hopes of making good on his promise to come home again are not looking good.
