Lebron James made the bold proclamation six years ago that his 12-year-old son, Bronny, was a better basketball player than he was at that age. Three years later, Bronny James became such a highly-touted prospect that blue blood colleges such as the University of Kentucky were foaming at the mouth to receive a commitment from him. But now that Bronny is a 17-year-old junior in high school, NBA scouts have a much more accurate grasp on where the eldest son of LeBron James may land in the league's draft sometime around 2024 or 2025.

Assuming that Bronny leaves college after his first year and declares himself eligible, NBA scouts are currently projecting him to be a mid-second-round pick in the draft. Which is a far cry from the coronation that his father received prior to being drafted number one overall in 2003. Nevertheless, with the recent announcement that LeBron James fully intends to sign with any team that drafts his son, Bronny's stock appears to have risen regardless of his skill set right now. The prospect of adding one of the greatest players in NBA history during his final years and his firstborn son could not only prove to be extremely lucrative in the short term, but it could also become franchise-altering if the 6'3 guard reaches his potential as a basketball player.
