James Harden was traded from the Brooklyn Nets to the Philadelphia 76ers in a trade that found Ben Simmons heading to New York. Since then, Harden has been candid about his time on the Nets, hinting that he never wanted to be there in the first place. Recently, Harden did speak on places he wanted to be, like hanging out with Meek Mill, Lil Durk, and Lil Baby.

During a recent interview, Harden talked about the time he spent with the rappers, even going as far as saying he stayed up all night with the artists.

Harden went on to say, “They all called me like, ‘Yo, we about to pull up to Houston.’ Baby, Durk, Meek.” He continued saying, “They all come to the house. They land at like 2 in the morning. I gotta go to practice in the morning! They come in the studio, and I’m up with them the whole time.” The idea of having to hit practice early in the morning didn’t deter Harden, with the NBA star saying, “And I go right from the studio at 7:30 a.m. right to practice. I can’t miss this opportunity. They in the studio, I gotta see what these dudes about to talk about.”

While Harden’s involvement with Lil Baby and Lil Durk may seem random, it isn’t, as he was the executive producer of their 2021 album ‘The Voice of the Heroes.’ Watch above.
