Update 03/02/2022 12:49pm:
More information is being revealed surrounding the arrest of former UFC champ Cain Velasquez.
According to TMZ, the man who Cain shot was accused of repeatedly sexually abusing Cain's close relative. The unidentified man lived in a home where a daycare was run. Cain's young family member went to that daycare and was molested by the man, who was arrested and charged with one felony count of a lewd and lascivious act with a child under the age of 14 last week.
The man was released from custody after an arraignment hearing, which infuriated Cain, who decided to take justice into his own hands. This is when Cain shot the man on Monday (February 28) while sitting in his car outside of a school in San Jose. Velasquez was then arrested and booked on a felony charge of attempted murder.
