When it comes to making fun of his celebrity adversaries, 50 Cent seems to have a Rolodex that never runs out of names. Among his most notable foes is Floyd Mayweather. With an estimated net worth of $450 million, the boxing legend never lost inside of the ring but outside of it, 50 Cent has landed a barrage of verbal shots on his former close friend.
Nine years ago, 50 Cent attempted to antagonize Mayweather to the point where he would accept the challenge of publically reading an excerpt of a Harry Potter novel for $750,000. Five years later, the "In Da Club" rapper took to Instagram in order to mock Floyd Mayweather's literacy skills with a sloppy handwritten letter that included several intentional spelling errors. This time around 50 Cent is poking fun at the champ's fashion sense.
In a Twitter post that followed Floyd Mayweather's appearance at a Heat vs. Bulls game on Monday night, 50 Cent playfully assessed his rival's decision to rock a bunch of Cuban links around his neck, comparing him to Mr T's memorable character from the classic 80's film, Rocky 3.
“Wait, Rocky got a new movie coming out? LOL,” 50 wrote on Twitter.
