Saweetie has been in the headlines recently, with the rapper speaking about her mental health. She noted she cut her hair after finding clarity within herself and that she had several mental breakdowns which caused her to create “more boundaries” for herself. Now, Saweetie is reportedly back in the studio and has been spotted with Dr. Dre and Erick Sermon.
Erick Sermon took to Instagram and explained how he and a cast of musicians ended up in the studio together ahead of the Super Bowl. Sermon included a photo of him, Dr. Dre, Saweetie, Joelle James, and producer Larrance Dopson of 1500 or Nothin in his post.
Sermon went on to write, “I got to L.A. a day before the #superbowl ..then 2 days after that was his bday…after that .. the #sagacontinues. We worked on my new project #DYNAMICDUOS … the next day, he called @snoopdogg, we made something epic for him .. then we made something for him after.. I think lol. Then he says erick .. that’s 3. What’s next? GOD doesn’t make mistakes.” Saweetie has reportedly been working on her album ‘Pretty B**ch Music’ the last year and allegedly switched up her project after conversing with Cher.
